A man of humble beginnings, C N Govindaraju started his career by doing civil contract works for both private and government agencies. With a degree in Civil Engineering, he was well equipped with the techniques required to foray into the construction segment, his mind being well stimulated to work from scratch. In 1995, he was presented with the opportunity to work with a developer group where he was in charge of developing a few hundred apartment units. The stint gave him sufficient opportunity to understand the workings of the construction industry, coming up with strategies to expand as well as make the business successful.
