Shri.P.R.Venketrama Raja has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Madras and Masters in Business Administration from University of Michigan, USA. He has been on the Board of The Ramco Cements Limited since 1985. He has more than 3 decades of Industrial Experience with specific knowledge in Textiles, Cement and Information Technology sectors. As a Member of the Board, he is responsible for guiding the Company in establishment of new units, selection of process and equipments and adoption of latest technologies since 1985, when the Company went for its first green field expansion in Jayanthipuram. He is also the Chairperson of Stakeholder Relationship Committee and Member of Audit Committee, Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Company.
