Sushil Premchand is directly responsible for implementing client acquisition strategies. He has over 40 years of experience in dealing with both large global entities and typical SME businesses. As Chairman of the PRS Group, Mumbai, he is responsible for the business in Switzerland and India, and ensures that PRS Services’ Swiss client service standards are maintained in India. He also exercises oversight on the Group’s own portfolio of intellectual property, comprising 24 patents, to which about 10 are added annually.
An economics graduate of the University of Bristol [1964-67] and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales [admitted in 1971], Sushil joined the family business in 1985. He had previously spent fourteen years with the international accounting firm, Arthur Andersen, in London, Hamburg and Zurich, and four years as the General Manager of the Zug subsidiaries of the British multinational, Associated Communications Corporation.
He is a past president of the Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce and continues as Honorary President and Board Member. In 2004, he was appointed to the Advisory Board of Directors of the Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Sushil has lived in Switzerland since 1977 and travels to India six to eight times a year to monitor the activities of the family business.
