Vimal kumar Goel aged 52 years has been a businessman by occupation. In the past he was associated with Avani Group in the capacity of President – Corporate and was instrumental in construction and commissioning of Avani Riverside Mall at Howrah.
Under his leadership the Mall has won several national and international awards. Some of the notable ones are:
IGBC-LEED Platinum Green Building Rating.
BEE (Bureau of Energy Efficiency) 5Star Rating.
President National Energy Conservation Award 2014 conferred by Hon’ble Pranab Mukherjee;
AEE Corporate Energy Management Award for entire Asian Subcontinent Region for accomplishment in developing, organizing, managing and implementing an outstanding Corporate Energy Management Program. AEE (Association of Energy Engineers) is the world’s largest body of energy engineers). This award is for any type of Building.
Notably all these awards are highest accredited / awarded by respective bodies. Also all these awards are exclusive to this Mall since no other Mall or Building respectively has ever been ever awarded these ratings / awards till now.
Under his captaincy, Avani Riverside Mall has also implemented the country’s most advanced IBMS (Integrated Building Management system) where the entire electro-mechanical and IT infrastructure is completely automated and remote-controllable.
In association with city renowned Srijan group, he has currently undertaken a Sub-LIG township project at Baruipur, 24 Parganas (s) under the banner of Srijan Star Realty LLP and seeks to break the cost barrier by offering the lowest priced apartments in a gated community. The complex is being designed to have the following:
Roof Top Solar Panels for the entire residential complex with a targeted installed capacity of approx 350KW in the first housing complex on a Net-Zero concepts. A total of 12 such complexes are proposed.
The complex proposes to process the entire wastage on-site particularly Bio-waste with bio-methane to electricity production.
The design of the complex is green and is slated for IGBC LEED green gold / platinum certification.
The complex shall be using energy efficient LED lamps in all common area with persuasions to habitants to use LED lamps only.
The complex will have Roof Top solar water heater for supply into the residential flats.
The Building units are being designed to have external cavity wall for better solar insulation.
Several other features of RES and Green Building are being designed for the complex.
Mr. Goel carries deep interest in RES (Renewable Energy Sources), energy conservation, green habitation, IT and automation, HVAC etc.
